Ten desirable used cars that are impossible to find

Why its absence leaves us longing: It's one thing to have a popular individual model fade into extinction; it's another to have that happen to whole nameplates. French cars in general are as scarce as bargain-priced grand cru Burgundy in the States, and after a long presence with some interesting cars it's sad to see how Renaults are essentially all gone.

In Europe Sierra´s XR4 and Scorpio are most popular.I can drive a Scorpio 2.0 litre a few years ago and it was a great car.One of my friends have a XR4 with V6 engine. It´s so fast but I prefer an original and rare Seat 131 Supermirafiori 2000 ( only 1500 built in Spain with 4 door body, 2 carb and 130hp engine ), a Fiat Brava version with Spanish specs and more powerful engine than Brava.

In this list I enclose too the Golf/Rabbit diesel Mark I (the first and the original Golf). In Europe we can´t see first Golf.Only some GTI original but it´s rare (In Spain we say "raro de cojones")

Raro de cojones, I love the sound of that! I know the meaning and just have a big laugh with it every time I hear it.

My R-5s were good cheap cars and I do miss them, even though I know they were not built to last a long time.
