Default French cars at Monterey - Aug 15

We know this is late notice but arrangements have just been made with La Dolce Vita to provide a showcase for the 75th anniversary of the Traction and a display for all French cars. LDV is a new premium car show during of the Monterey Motoring Week aimed toward exceptional European driving machines in the relaxed atmosphere of the Black Horse Golf Course. Its organizers do not want to be like the Ferrari grill fest of Concorso Italiano but something with more variety. The Show is Friday, August 14th. As most of you know, the Monterey week of motoring has long ignored French cars as a whole. Now we will finally have the spotlight to bring national and international recognition to our wonderful cars.. We need a large turnout of all makes and models. Whether yours is show quality or is barn fresh with a patina of the ages, it will be welcomed. There is no judging at this event. Bring picnics. Bring wine. Bring France to Monterey.

By special arrangement, we can offer the early bird entry prices to all French cars through July 15.. The entry fee is $50 for car and driver, $25 for additional passengers. Use the promotion code LDVTINA when registering. Warning, hotel rooms tend to be at a premium during the Monterey weekend so if you are thinking of staying local for the show, you should make reservations ASAP. The Black Horse Golf Course is in Seaside, close to Highway 1.

For full details of the show and to register online , go to http://www.montereybayconcours.com

Please pass this along to other French car owners that you think would like to take part in the biggest week of vintage motoring of the year.

Default Hy 101, here I come...

Is this event worth the trip? Sounds quite tempting but a little far from Vancouver, BC. Any Canadians planing on attending?
    Cheers,
    Pierre.

    Hello

We hope you decide to make the trip, I don't know of any Canadians but we do have a couple coming down from Washington. Let me know if you have any other questions.
